We collect information that you provide us, information that you input to various forms and links, and information that otherwise arises from your usage, for example the number of times which you have unsuccessfully attempted to log in to your account is stored so that we can temporarily freeze access if there are too many failed attempts, to prevent unauthorized access.

We use this information to facilitate your log-in to this website, to help you input and organize information, to share with your lawyer and their law firm, and to make this website operable. We may send you emails or otherwise contact you. Other than your password and some usage data, all of your information may be visible to third parties, which might include your lawyer, your lawyer's law firm, and regulatory agencies. Never communicate privileged information on this website, consult your lawyer before doing so. We may also share information for regulatory and legal reasons.

The information that you enter in here may be shared with your former spouse/partner, their lawyer, and their lawyer's law firm. This is a feature of the website, which makes it easier for lawyers to collaborate. Before this information is released, your lawyer must initiate its release and choose which lawyer the information is shared with. We do not take any steps to confirm that the lawyer who they have selected is in fact the lawyer who represents the opposing party to your dispute, we rely entirely upon the discretion of the lawyer who you designated as your lawyer when you opened your matter, and we take no responsibility for improper transfers.

Your lawyer will also have the ability to grant access to another lawyer. This is done so that if you change lawyers, they can transfer your file to your new lawyer. However, we do not take any steps to confirm that you have in fact retained the new lawyer, we rely entirely upon the discretion of the lawyer who you designated as your lawyer when you opened your matter, and we take no responsibility for improper transfers.

We will never sell your personal information, although sponsors and advertisers may interact with this website. If we display any advertisements they might track your cookies and browser information. We scramble your password using an MD5 hash so that if in the event our web hosting is compromised, our database will not contain any passwords. We employ other technologies to protect against attacks such as javascript and SQL injection, however this website is certainly not foolproof to cyber attacks and other actions which may compromise your computer and information, especially since we allow for the upload of user-generated content which we have not scanned for viruses or malware. This website is operated by an ammateur programming hobbyist, not a professionally-trained computer programmer or security professional.
